Summary: Fantastic brewer! My parents love it! Fast, easy, great coffee!
Comment: My father LOVES coffee, but he hates making a pot for just him or for him and my mom. I searched, read reviews until I decided on this one for him for Christmas. I purchased this Keurig along with the extra filter A MUST!..(It makes it possible to use your own coffee), k-cup holder, and boxes of decaf k-cups. They LOVE IT!! It was a hit on Christmas with everyone but my parents tell me they now have a perfectly brewed cup of coffee for in the morning, before bed...any time in seconds! It's extremely easy to use and built very well. I also liked the feature of this model that you could use different size coffee mugs/cups.

Summary: Best Ever!
Comment: I've had this for a few months now, and absolutely LOVE it! It's convient, fast, easy to use and makes the same wonderful cup of coffee every time! The bottom is removable, so my 15 oz. travel cup fits perfectly underneath. I don't like super strong coffee, so I use the same k-cup twice to fill my travel cup (using the middle brew setting). I love that you can use this for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I also like the fact that I can use this machine for hot water for packets of hot chocolate. Great product!

Summary: Great and easy coffee and tea!
Comment: I received my B60 for Christmas and I am very pleased with how well it works. It is so easy and there are so many varieties of coffee to try, that it is a winner.

I've also tried the tea varieties and this is a good way to make a fast cup of tea.

I recommend this coffee maker and going to the Keurig site to buy samples of teas and coffees before buying a lot of any flavor. I did not do that and one of the lemon tea brands is too lemony. Keurig also includes an 18 cup variety pack, so make a few of them and discover what flavors are to your liking.

The brewer allows you to experiment with the size cup you make. Use this to vary the strength of your tea and coffee. It also has a water temperature control. I recommend keeping it on the hottest - as it is not too hot. If you like really hot coffee, this is sort of a drawback.

I recommend the Keuring B60 if you like real coffee instead of instant but can't be bothered making a full pot just for yourself.

Summary: Perfect Push-Button Coffee
Comment: This unit replaces a Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker. While it was a convenient machine, it was extremely difficult to keep clean and with only one regular coffee drinker in the house it had limited value.

The Keurig brews a single cup of coffee in about a minute. My unit included a set of sample coffees and they are all quite good, although my plan is to use the "My K-Cup" to brew my own coffee.

There is a built-in clock and timer, which may not sound important but it will let you warm-up the coffee machine and have it automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. This allows you to have the machine ready at 6AM and right before you hop in the car you can push a button and get a cup of coffee. Without the warm-up cycle, you may need to wait a minute or two before you can start brewing.

Counter space can be maximized especially if you have a corner spot where you can place this. Filling up the water reservoir is straightforward, and unlike a traditional coffee maker there really should be no need to pull the Keurig forward since the water can be poured from the front.

Cleanup is a breeze, the drip-tray can be easily removed for hand-washing along with the water reservoir. The K-Cup holder can also be removed for occasional cleanup.

So far my only gripe is the My K-Cup has proved difficult to load correctly. The results from brewing my own coffee has produced watery cups with some aftertaste. Variations in the amount of coffee grinds has produced considerable grades of flavor, and I'm worried this might not be something I can master.

In terms of the machine itself, the water reservoir can be a little tricky to remove and comes out best when done slowly. I know this was a popular holiday gift a few years ago, but I'm glad I waited to have a machine that will accept my own coffee and uses an extremely popular standard cup (K-Cup).

Summary: weak coffee and hot chocolate K-Cups
Comment: We have been using the smaller version of the Keurig at work which always makes great coffee so I decided to get the Kerig B60, Well I convinced my boyfriend to buy if for me for my 09 Christmas present. I do love that it makes the coffee, tea, hot chocolate fast however, the temperature is not hot enough and if you think your coffee is weak when it is done brewing that's because it is. I OPENED UP k CUP AND PRETTY MUCH THE WATER ONLY HITS THE CENTER AND AFTER IT PUSHES THE GROUNDS OR HOT CHOCOLATE ASIDE (I ended up dumping a packet of my own in there), CLEAR WATER RUNS THROUGH. THE WATER DOES NOT STAY IN THE K-CUP LONG ENOUGH TO DO ANY STEEPING. The company should slow down the brewing feature so the coffee would be stronger and make it worth the money to actually buy their expensive coffee. He also bought me the filter so I can use my own coffee and tea and it was the same duplicated problem. When making tea.. just put a tea bag in your cup and push to brew the water. You still have to open and close the hatch to do this and wait for the blinking light. Pretty much a waste of our money. If you have the hot chocolate pods from them I suggest dumping the contents into your cup and following the same procedure. The unit basically only works well to make the smallest cup of coffee.

Useful information: EnergyWise House: Laundry

About 80 percent to 85 percent of the energy used for washing clothes is for heating the water. There are two ways to reduce the amount of energy used for washing clothes - use less water and use cooler water. Unless you're dealing with oily stains, the warm or cold water setting on your machine will generally do a good job of cleaning your clothes. Switching your temperature setting from hot to warm can cut a load's energy use in half.
